भारतीय उपग्रहों की सूची

भारत ने 1975 से अब (30 अगस्त 2013) तक (71)कृत्रिम उपग्रह सफलतापूर्वक प्रक्षेपित किया है। ये उपग्रह विभिन्न प्रक्षेपण यानों द्वारा प्रक्षेपित किये गये हैं जैसे अमेरिकी, रूसी, यूरोपीय तथा स्वदेशी यान। भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (ISRO) भारतीय उपग्रहों के डिजाइन एवं निर्माण का कार्य करती है।[1]

रोहिणी प्रौद्योगिकी पेलोड10 अगस्त 1979Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV)पहली प्रायोगिक उड़ान एसएलवी-3 के प्रदर्शन को मापने के उद्देश्य से, जो भारत का पहला प्रक्षेपण वाहन था। यह कक्षा में प्रवेश नहीं कर पाया।[3]

Space Capsule Recovery Experiment (SRE-1)10 जनवरी 2007PSLV-C7Experimental satellite intended to demonstrate the technology of an orbiting platform for performing experiments in microgravity conditions. Launched as a co-passenger with CARTOSAT-2. SRE-1 was de-orbited and recovered successfully after 12 days over Bay of Bengal.[46]
INSAT-4B12 मार्च 2007Ariane-5ECAIdentical to INSAT-4A. Further augments the INSAT capacity for direct-to-home (DTH) television services and other communications. On the night of 7 जुलाई INSAT-4B experienced a power supply glitch which led to switching 'off' of 50 per cent of the transponder capacity (6 Ku and 6 C-Band transponders).[47]
