नगला टाँक

नगला टाँक उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य के मैनपुरी जिले में करहल तहसील का गाँव है ! इस गाँव में यादवों के अलावा अन्य किसी जाति के लोग नहीं हैं ! इस गाँव में देशभक्ति का जज्बा कूट - कूट कर भरा है ! इस गाँव के युवा देश सेवा के लिये बढ़ चढ़कर आगे आये हैं ! गाँव में ऐसा कोई घर नहीं जिस घर से कोई व्यक्ति देश सेवा के लिये न गया हो !

वर्ष 1995 में इस गाँव के शहीद रामाधार सिंह यादव जम्मू कश्मीर के कुपवाड़ा में बॉर्डर पर आतंकवादियों के सामने दीवार बन कर खड़े हो गये तथा आतंकवादियों को अंदर घुसने नहीं दिया किन्तु वे आतंकवादियों की भारी गोलीबारी का शिकार हो गये एवं अपने देश के लिये सर्वोच्च बलिदान देकर हम सबकी यादों में अमर हो गये ।

इससे पहले इसी गांव के चरण सिंह यादव ने श्रीलंका में शहादत दी !

Kupwada hero Martyr Ramadhar Singh Yadav belongs from Nagla Tank Village that has the small village in Karhal With a population of about 500. Nagla Tank has earned the unique distinction of having one member from each family in the armed forces. Some families have more than one member of the family in the armed forces. People are proud of their fathers, brothers and sons.

The distance of Nagla Tank from Karhal Railway Station is just 5 km. This is a very beautiful village. Here you can enjoy nature's views. The Village surrounded from gardens. If you are go to the village, do not forget to see the memorials of the martyrs who are indicative of the gallantry of this village. There is a nearby Nagla Tank Ghat on the Sengar river where you can enjoy a bath and swim.
