भालन लोग

भालन बृहत भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप के पश्चिमोत्तर भाग में बसने वाले आर्य समुदाय का एक क़बीला था। ऋग्वेद के सातवे मंडल में वे पुरुओं द्वारा स्थापित उस मित्रपक्ष में थे जिन्होने दस राजाओं के युद्ध (दशराज्ञ युद्ध) में भारत क़बीले के राजा सुदास से जंग की थी जिसमें पुरुओं की हार हुई थी। कुछ विद्वानों के अनुसार भालन लोग आधुनिक बलोचिस्तान के बोलन दर्रे क्षेत्र में रहते थे और उस दर्रे का नाम उन्ही पर पड़ा है।[1][2][3][4]
