उपजाति (जीवविज्ञान)
जीववैज्ञानिक वर्गीकरण में उपजाति (Subspecies) किसी जाति की दो या उस से अधिक आबादियों को कहा जाता है जो एक दूसरे से रूप-रंग में पृथक दिखें, अर्थात् उन्हें आसानी से पहचाना जा सके। कई जातियों की कोई उपजाति नहीं होती, यानि उसके सभी सदस्य स्पष्टता से सामान आकृति व रूप रखते हैं।[1]
